The DPW will be jetting the east side this week. Every now and then while jetting, a homeowners floor drain trap could become dry and cause a sewer gas smell in the house.
If this happens, the homeowner should run water or dump a 5 gallon bucket of water down their drains. This is usually only needed in the basement or lower level of the home.
The water will be off on the 200 & 300 blocks of East Franklin St on May 29, 7:00a.m. – 4:30p.m. Water is back on.
