NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
Notice is hereby given that the attached applications for side and rear setback variances for detached garages will be heard by the Board of Zoning Appeals in the Second Floor Conference Room 2 in the City of Portage Municipal Building, located at 115 West Pleasant Street, Portage, Wisconsin at 5:20 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018.
- The application for Richard Lynn, Parcel # 500, 509 East Cook Street, Portage Columbia County, Wisconsin for variance to Chapter 90; Article II, Section 90-30 (5) to allow minimum side setback of 2 feet and a minimum rear setback of 2 feet for a detached garage (accessory structure) . A variance of 2 feet from the required minimum side set back of 4 feet, and a variance of 2 feet from the required minimum rear setback of 4 feet for accessory structures. The property is zoned R-4 Small Scale Multi-Family district.
Said variance would permit a detached garage (accessory structure) to be within 2 feet of the side setback, a variance of 2 feet, and to be within 2 feet from the rear setback, a variance of 2 feet. The minimum side and rear setbacks are 4 feet for accessory structures at 509 E. Cook Street.

A variance of 2 feet from the required minimum side set back of 4 feet, and a variance of 2 feet from the required minimum rear setback of 4 feet for accessory structures. The property is zoned R-3 Single and Two Family Residential district.
Said variance would permit a detached garage (accessory structure) to be within 2 feet of the side setback, a variance of 2 feet, and to be within 2 feet from the rear setback, a variance of 2 feet. The minimum side and rear setbacks are 4 feet for accessory structures at 709 W. Edgewater Street.

Albert Street, Portage Columbia County, Wisconsin for variance to Chapter 90; Article II, Section 90-28 (5) to allow minimum side setback of 0 feet for a detached garage (accessory structure) . A variance of 4 feet from the required minimum side set back of 4 feet for accessory structures. The property is zoned R-2 Single Family Residential district.
Said variance would permit a detached garage (accessory structure) to be within 0 feet of the side setback, a variance of 4 feet. The minimum side setback is 4 feet for accessory structures at 217 W. Albert Street.
