Slifer, Winnebago and Oakridge.
The paving contractor is beginning pavement removals on Friday, July 5th for the following streets: Oakridge Dr. from E. Slifer to School, Winnebago Ave. from Woodcrest Dr. to E. Slifer, and E. Slifer from Hamilton St. approximately 500’ west. Excavation of the street will take place the week of July 8th with paving to follow shortly thereafter. A secondary notice with an updated schedule went out to affected residents today.
No parking signs will be posted on each street. Oakridge and Winnebago will be open to local traffic only. Residents shall not park on the above mentioned streets on Friday, July 5th and July 8th through the duration of the project. Residents have been notified that they will be allowed to use the roads for parking for July 6 and July 7 in case they have company in town for the holiday weekend.
Slifer will be closed to through traffic as well. Road closed ahead signs and no through traffic signs will be placed on Hamilton and East Albert St.; and at New Pinery and E. Slifer. Hamilton St. will not be accessible for through traffic form E. Slifer St. Any driveways in this portion of the project will have access to their driveways as well.
