Public Meeting: Silver Lake Management

The City of Portage invites all Silver Lake property owners and interested residents to a public meeting to discuss upcoming aquatic plant management and lake health.
- When: Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
- Where: Park & Recreation Community Room (401 Cemetery Road)
- Topics: 2026 mechanical weed harvesting plans, current lake conditions, and the Aquatic Plant Management Plan (APMP).
- Guests: Arthur Watkinson (Water Resources Specialist with the Wisconsin DNR) and Chris Arnold (Columbia County Land & Water Conservation) will be in attendance to provide information and assist in answering questions
